I don’t shoot as many weddings in the winter as I do in warmer weather, but I tell ya, I do love them! We couldn’t have ordered in a more incredibly perfect winter wedding than this!  After weeks of unusually cold weather things warmed up to manageable levels for this weekend, and picture perfect, totally romantic, soft and dreamy snowfall was the finishing touch.

Sarah + Luc are two of the kindest, most authentic and in love people you’ll meet, and their day so perfectly reflected who they are.  Their celebrations were so much about their friends and family and making sure everyone had an amazing time.  And they really did have an amazing time!  Haha!  I don’t generally stay at my wedding receptions until 1am, but it was New Years Eve… I couldn’t very well leave that kind of celebration before ringing in the new year.  The shenanigans!!!  Yes!!

From the emotional first looks with Sarah’s family and the palpable excitement in her first look with Luc, to the insanely romantic portraits, stunning ceremony, all the way to the emotional roller coaster that the speeches were and New Year’s hugs and tears, it was a day full to the brim with real, heart stoppingly beautiful moments.  It was amazing!  And how DOES a bride manage portraits in the snow?  With the most blinged out Kate Spade Ked’s you’ve ever seen, that’s how!!

The evening wedding ceremony and reception at TRU.  First Comes Love did absolutely amazing work with the decor, transforming the spaces into twinkle lit, grey, silver and white, sparkling landscapes totally worthy of a winter wedding. She worked her magic, that’s for sure!

Congratulations again you two!  Your day was as amazing as you are!!  xo
