Toddlers are the MOST fun to photograph. Unless they are having an exceptionally bad day… but even then, as a photographer it’s kinda fun to photograph melt downs… although admittedly, that’s not as much fun for mom and dad (lol). THIS little man, however, was all about hamming it up for the camera, exploring the orchard and trying to convince everyone to let him pick the unripe cherries off the trees. We had a few quiet moments scattered in there, but they didn’t last long before he was off again. Keeping ahead of his antics was an immensely entertaining endeavor, and the result was a lot of laughing and running around.
I met up with these guys in a Summerland Orchard for their family session. Lucky for us, a friend owns this beautiful orchard and gave us free reign to roam and shoot in it. The clover was blooming and the setting was ridiculously idyllic, perfected by the teepee we brought along as a prop. The only way we could get Nathan in the tent at ALL was to read his favorites stories, and even that didn’t hold him for too long. This little sweetie now has a brand new sister, and I can’t WAIT to head back to Summerland in a couple weeks to photograph this family again 🙂
I absolutely love the confidence in this little guy in your very first photo! Of course just a tad biased as his Grandma!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
And you should be!!! 🙂 He’s a fantastic little boy!!
