Details. The Dress. The florals. The rings. The locations. The venues. Shape and texture. I love shooting wedding details!! They showcase the couple’s personalities, their likes, their interests, their life together. Some wedding details are pieces of their family and history. Some details tell a full story, like the pair of blingy, muddy sandals you’ll see. Rings are always stunning and it’s fun to find ways to incorporate the theme or location of the wedding into these images. And dresses are, well, pieces of each bride’s childhood vision of her wedding come to life.
Ok, since I singled these shoes out at the beginning, these shoes symbolize a trek to the river for photos, driving rain, thunder and lightning, a trek up a suddenly muddy embankment, and a dirty wedding dress that was washed and dried and good to go before anyone even knew what had happened. Awesome story (and an awesome bride!).
You are a master at the details, Lisa. I believe that is really what sets you apart from the many other fine wedding photographers out there. You just see things that they don’t. That’s what makes you great – not just good 🙂
I love watching the details. This is very important part of wedding shoot. Thank you for sharing yours. I’m delighted 😉
